YWNFI Photo Stations
An events photo-station brand that needed a cinematic, general-event presence beyond a single niche. We delivered a visually rich, fast-loading site positioned for the broader event market.
YWNFI runs photo stations at events. The brand had been positioned around a single niche, and needed a site that spoke to the broader event market instead. This is a visual business. The photos it produces are the product, so the site itself had to carry that visual weight convincingly.
We built a cinematic, image-led site and rewrote the positioning and messaging around general events rather than one narrow use case. The goal was to let the visuals do the selling while making clear that YWNFI belongs at any event, not just the one it had been known for.
Heavy visuals and fast load times usually work against each other, so we optimized every image to WebP to keep the site light despite the image-led design. It is a static build, deployed on Vercel for speed and simplicity. The whole experience is mobile-first, built for people browsing on the go, the way event planning and event browsing actually happens.
A site that looks as good as the photos it is selling, without making anyone wait for it to load.
01
Image-led design, weight and speed both
Cinematic photography needed room to breathe, so we optimized every image to WebP. Heavy visuals did not have to mean a slow site.
02
Repositioning around general events
We rewrote positioning and messaging to speak to the whole event market rather than the single niche the brand had been tied to. The photos already worked everywhere. The messaging just had to catch up.
03
Static build on Vercel
We kept the build static and deployed it on Vercel, prioritizing speed and simplicity over dynamic features the site did not need.
04
Mobile-first for on-the-go browsing
Event photos get browsed and shared on phones, not desktops. We built the experience mobile-first accordingly.
